VMS (variable information signs) is an important part of traffic information service system. With the development of big data, artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies, traffic information service system has become an important way of traffic management in China. There exist four problems in current traffic information service system management of Changchun city, namely, lagged infrastructure construction, non-standard VMS release content, parking guidance system and route guidance system to be optimized. To solve the problems existing in the construction of traffic information service system in small and medium-sized cities represented by Changchun, we can scientifically optimize the quantity of VMS construction and regional distribution, formulate the upper limit rules of the number of words issued by VMS, improve the real-time updating technology of traffic flow guidance information and develop personalized path guidance system.%可变信息情报板是交通信息服务系统的重要组成部分.随着大数据、人工智能等新兴技术的发展,交通信息服务系统已经成为我国交通管理的重要途径.长春市交通信息服务系统管理现状存在配套基础设施建设滞后,VMS发布内容不规范,停车诱导系统和路径诱导系统有待优化四点问题.针对以长春市为代表的中小型城市交通信息服务系统建设中存在的问题,可以通过合理增加VMS建设数量、科学优化VMS区域分布,制定VMS发布文字字数上限规则;完善交通流诱导信息实时更新技术;发展个性化路径诱导系统等措施来解决.
