China is in an important period with strategic development opportunities ,which put forward higher requirements to the social management .Government micro -blog has poured new vigor into the innovation of the social management .First of all ,government micro -blog promotes the transformation of social management idea from management to service .Secondly , the micro-blog promotes the shift of social management means from the traditional and administrative means to a more hu-mane ,scientific way .Thirdly ,the micro -blog improves the social management pattern ,so that the main body of management changes from one to multiple ,and the majority of Internet users are actively involved in the social management by means of ad-ministrative micro-blog ."Government micro-blog"makes innovation of the social management .%中国正处在发展的重要战略机遇期，对社会管理提出了更高层次的要求，政务微博为创新社会管理注入了新的活力。一是政务微博促进了社会管理理念从管理向服务的转变；二是推动了社会管理方式从传统的行政方式向更为人性化、科学化的方式转变；三是完善了社会管理格局，使得管理主体从一元向多元转变，广大网民借助政务微博积极参与到了社会管理中来。政务微博所引领的“微政务”创新了社会管理。
