政党制度是伴随着政党的存在和发展而产生的，是政党政治的主要表现形式和实现形式。我国实行的是中国共产党领导的多党合作政治制度，而美国的政党制度主要体现的是两党制。中美两国政党制度截然不同，各具特色。从社会历史背景、政党组织结构类型、政党主要功能、政党与政府的关系及政党与政党关系五个方面对两者进行比较、分析，意在体现中国社会主义政党制度的优越性以及对他国经验借鉴的重要性。秉承包容、开放的胸怀才能不断开拓政治视野，取长补短，更好地为中国特色的社会主义政党制度建设服务。%The generation of political party system is accompanied by the existence and development of the political party, and is the main form of expression and form of party politics.Our country executes a political system of multi-party coopera-tion led by the Communist Party of China,while the main political party system in the United States is a two-party system. The political party system between China and America is very different,each has its own characteristics.This article mainly compares and analyses the difference between the two systems from five aspects:the social and historical background,the party organization structure type,main functions,the relationship between party and government and party relations between political parties.It is intended to demonstrate the superiority of China's socialist political party system as well as to stress the impor-tance of the other countries'experience for reference,so that we can broaden our political vision and learn from other's strong points to make up ours deficiencies and to serve the construction of the socialist political party system with Chinese characteris-tic.
