CDX2表达水平与胃癌患者病理特征及预后的关系

摘要

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression level of caudal type homeobox transcription factor 2 (CDX2) and clinical characteristics of patients diagnosed with gastric cancer,and explore the possibility of CDX2 in evaluating the clinical prognosis of patients.Methods The expression level of CDX2 mRNA was quantitatively measured by real-time PCR from 60 gastric cancer specimens,and the expression of CDX2 protein was detected by inmunohistochemistry from 140 gastric cancer samples.The relationship between the expression level of CDX2 and clinical prognosis was observed.Results CDX2 was highly expressed in the gastric cancer tissues.The expression of CDX2 was association with TNM staging and lymph node metastasis.Compared with stage Ⅲ-Ⅳgastric cancer patients with lymph node metastasis,the expression level of CDX2 was significantly up-regulated in their stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ counterparts without lymph node metastasis.The 1-year recurrence rate and 2-year cumulative recurrence rate were significantly reduced in CDX2-positive patients.Conclusions The expression of CDX2 is correlated with TNM staging,lymph node metastasis and clinical prognosis of gastric cancer patients.CDX2 could serves as a promising parameter monitoring the clinical prognosis of gastric cancer patients.%目的 探讨尾型同源盒转录因子2(CDX2)表达程度与胃癌患者临床特征之间的关系,探讨其能否成为评价患者预后的指标.方法 选取60例胃癌手术标本用实时荧光定量PCR检测CDX2 mRNA的表达,选取140例胃癌手术标本用免疫组织化学检测CDX2蛋白的表达,同时观察CDX2的表达与预后的关系.结果 胃癌组织中CDX2高表达,且其表达水平与TNM分期、淋巴结转移有关,与Ⅲ～Ⅳ期、淋巴结转移患者相比,Ⅰ～Ⅱ期、无淋巴结转移患者的胃癌组织中CDX2表达增高(P＜0.05).CDX2阳性者术后1年复发率、2年累计复发率均降低(均P＜0.05).结论 CDX2表达与TNM分期、淋巴结转移、患者预后有关,可作为胃癌患者预后监测的一项指标.
