HRT及EPS对ABR中污泥性能的影响

             

摘要

采用厌氧折流板反应器(ABR)处理精对苯二甲酸(PTA)废水,分别测定4个不同水力停留时间(HRT)下反应器的处理性能及污泥特性.结果表明:随着HRT由40.0h减小到25.0h,反应器第1格室化学需氧量(COD)去除率、混合液挥发性悬浮固体浓度(MLVSS)及其与混合液中总的悬浮固体浓度(MLSS)之比、最大比产甲烷活性都显著下降,但缩短HRT对较后的格室污泥性能的影响沿水流方向逐渐减小.而且,污泥中疏松层胞外聚合物( LB - EPS)及其多糖的量与最大比产甲烷活性呈显著正相关关系(r >0.687),表明EPS产生有利于ABR在负荷冲击下维持较好的污泥活性.因此,采用ABR能够高效而稳定地处理PTA废水.%The treatment of purified terephthalic acid wastewater (PTA) was conducted in an anaerobic baffled reactor (ABR). The reactor performance and the characteristics of anaerobic sludge were determined at four different hydraulic retention time (HRT). Results showed that the chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal efficiency, mixed liquor volatile suspended solid (MLVSS),the ratio of MLVSS and mixed liquor suspended solid (MLSS) ,and the maximum specific methane production activities decreased dramatically in the first compartment with HRT decreased from 40. 0 h to 25. 0 h, whereas all of them kept constant or slightly increased in the latter compartments along the flow direction. Furthermore,the production of loosely bound extracellular polymeric substances (LB-EPS) and polysaccharide positively correlated well with the maximum specific methanogenic activity (r > 0. 687) , indicating that the production of EPS was beneficial to the sludge activity of ABR. Therefore, ABR could be applied to effectively treat PTA wastewater.
