Objective To assess patients' satisfaction level with orthodontic treatment and to identify it there was any association between patient's reason to seek orthodontic treatment and their satisfaction level with the treatment outcome.Methods This study was conducted among a sample of 80 patients.A questionnaire was formulated including Dental Impact on Daily Living questionnaire (to assess the effect of the treatment on daily living and satisfaction with the dentition).Descriptive statistics,Chi-square test were used to analyze the data.Results and Conclusion Patients' reason to seek orthodontic treatment had no significant association with patients' satisfaction with their dentition after orthodontic treatment.Patients with aesthetic need were found to experience more pain (P=0.034).There was statistical significant association between age and total satisfaction (P=0.035).Gender had no effect on patient's satisfaction.
