By using the rotating cylinder method,viscosity of pure Al and Al-Si alloys were studied in a wide temperature range above the liquidus temperature.The experimental results show that the viscosities of the melts all decrease with increasing temperature.As the Si content reaches 0.5% and above the viscosity starts to exhibit an anomalous point at the temperature from 720℃ to 790℃.This fact may be related to the microstructure change of the melts as the Si content increasing over 5%.In the case of larger superheat (△T=100℃ or 135℃),the influence of Si content on the viscosity of A1 Si melts become weak when the content of Si is not exceeded 7%; as the content of Si reaches 9% or 11%,however,Si content strongly affect on the viscosity of Al-Si melts.%采用旋转柱体法系统地对纯铝及铝硅合金在液相线以上不同温度的粘度进行了研究.实验结果表明:随着温度的升高,熔体的粘度都呈减小的趋势;且当Si含量增至5%时,熔体的粘度在720~790℃之间存在着异常变化,可能是熔体结构发生了改变;在较大过热度(△T=100℃或135℃)时,Si含量在不超过7%条件下,Si含量对Al-Si合金熔体粘度的影响较小;而当Si含量达到9%或11%以上时,Si含量对熔体粘度的影响变大.
