In order to find out the current mental health situation and its relevant influencing factors of Academic Journal editors in Liaoning province, we make a survey by applying SCL-90 scale on 59 learned periodical editors and compare the results with the nationwide standards by analyzing the influences on the results given by the factors of gender, working age, education background and subject. It is shown that 84. 7% of the quizzes' results are positive. Scores of 4 factors including somati-zation, obsession, anxiety and hostility are significant higher than the nationwide standards (P< 0.01). There are no significant relationships between the natural factors and the editors' mental health, but the factor of gender affects the scores of anxiety significantly, and also does working age to interpersonal relationship, education background to paranoia and depression. The current mental health situations of Academic Journal editors in Liaoning province are apparently lower than common people. This is mainly because the high professional skill demands, relative lower social status and income, tedious work of the vocation.%为考察辽宁省学术期刊编辑的心理健康状况及相关影响因素,用SCL-90量表对辽宁省59名学术期刊编辑进行测查,并与全国常模比较,分别对性别、编龄、学历和学科等因素进行分析.结果显示,阳性检出率为84.7％,躯体化、强迫、焦虑、敌对4项因子分显著高于全国常模(P＜0.01),性别与焦虑、编龄与人际关系敏感、学历与偏执和抑郁有显著相关.认为辽宁省学术期刊编辑的心理健康状况明显低于正常水平,主要与这一职业的较高的专业要求、较低的社会关注度和待遇以及谨慎枯燥的工作特性有关.
