库切在多部小说中都表现出了一定的救赎思想，这些救赎思想的产生有一定的根源，这些根源包括文化因素、社会因素和个人生活因素。库切在小说中之所以表现救赎思想，意义就在于希望人们能够通过救赎的方式来疗救过去因罪恶所带来的心灵创伤。%Coetzee showed the redemptive thoughts in some novels, and explored the origins of the redemptive thoughts, these sources include cultural factors, social factors and personal factors.
