Taking benzaldehyde, naphthalene-2-amine, Meldrum acid as raw materials and glycerol as organic reaction solvent and catalyzer, a series of l-aryl-l,2-dihydrobenzo[/]quinolin-3(4H)-one derivatives were synthesized by a three-component one-pot reaction on condition that there was backflow here. This method exhibited the advantage of milder reaction condition, greater yield, simple post-treatment, and en-vironmen-friendliness.
