浅析辛格短篇小说中的悖论书写

摘要

悖论是辛格作品中的显性特征。悖论诗学作为文学创新批评方式，不仅是哲理探索，亦是文学艺术化的必由之路。辛格有意在短篇小说中对立并置异质因子，以双方的互动颠覆传统文学的统一性。在叙事上，他将可靠叙事和不可靠叙事并存于同一语境，制造叙事悖论；在主题上，作者既传递犹太精神和文化，又亵渎犹太教义，令读者陷入信与不信的两难之境；在身份建构上，辛格笔下的弃犹者既无法扎根现代社会，又无法回归犹太社区，在追求个性化权利乐土中终被权利抛弃。%Paradox remains as a dominant trait in Singer's works.As a creative literary criticism,Para-dox Poetics serves not only as a method of philosophical exploration,but the surest way to artistic lit-erature .In his short stories Singer consciously j uxtaposes contradictory elements to subverts the unity of traditional literature by the interactive process of the two.On narrative mode,he juxtaposes relia-ble and unreliable narration in the same context to demonstrate narrative paradox;as to theme,he ad-vocates Jewish spirit and culture whereas profanes Jewish religion meanwhile,leading readers to the plight of both belief and disbelief;in the construction of identity,the exiles that he depicts could nei-ther find roots in modern society nor retreat back to Jewish community.In the pursuit of individual power they are abandoned by power itself.
