A high-performance liquid chromatographic( HPLC) method was established for the rapid determination of formaldehyde in potato starch noodles. The type of derivative reagent, derivative reaction conditions and derivative stability were investigated. The separation of formaldehyde was carried out on an Agilent Zorbax Eclipse XDB-C18column(4. 6 mm x250 mm, 5 |xm) , using a mobile phase composed of acetonitrile - water (30 : 70) at a flow rate of 0. 8 mL/min. The variable wavelength detector( VWD) was set at 412 nm. Under the optimal conditions, the calibration curve was linear in the concentration range of 0. 00 - 0. 80 mg/L with a correlation coefficient of 0. 999 8. The spiked recoveries of formaldehyde in potato starch noodles were in the range of 92% - 94% with relative standard deviations( RSD) of 0. 75% - 1. 5% . The detection limit was 0. 043 μg/g. The method is simple, rapid and accurate, and could be used in the determination of formaldehyde content in potato starch noodles.%建立了Nash试剂柱前衍生高效液相色谱法快速测定土豆粉条样品中甲醛含量的分析方法.考察了衍生试剂、衍生反应条件及衍生物的稳定性.Nash试剂柱前衍生,产物经Agilent Zorbax Eclipse XDB-C18(4.6mm× 250 mm,5μm)柱分离,采用可变波长扫描紫外检测器(VWD)检测,检测波长412 nm;流动相为乙腈-水(30:70),流速为0.8 mL· min-1.方法在0.00 ~0.80 mg/L范围内线性关系良好,相关系数为0.999 8.粉条样品的加标回收率为92% ~ 94%,RSD为0.75%~ 1.5%,检出限为0.043 μg/g.该方法能满足快速筛查粉条中甲醛类防腐剂的要求.
