引领民族发展：新时期民族高等教育的特色诉求

摘要

The adaptability to minorities is the main characteristic of higher education for minorities in the past. In the new historical starting point, national higher education must go beyond simply adapting development character-istic, undertake comprehensive lead minorities and ethical region development historical mission. Institute for nation-alities must be built into a modern national university, to create a base for diversified-culture-subject generating, the power station and axis for promoting national development, becoming laboratory and source of national policies and national education policy.%民族适应性是过去民族高等教育的主要发展特色。在新的历史起点上，民族高等教育必须超越单纯适应的发展特色，承担起全面引领少数民族和民族地区发展的历史使命。民族学院必须把自己建设成为现代民族大学，打造成为多元一体文化主体的生成基地，促进民族发展的动力站和轴心机构，成为民族政策和民族教育政策的实验室和策源地。
