高职生英语学习负动机因素实证研究

     

摘要

本研究采用问卷调查和访谈试图找出影响高职生英语学习的负动机因素。结果表明,影响高职生英语学习的负动机因素主要有以下五方面:1)学业成绩与过往学习经历;2)教材与学习任务;3)学生自信心与学习兴趣;4)教师素质与教学方法;5)学习环境与设施。且高低学习动机者在前三者间存在显著差异。本文就减少学生的动机削弱因素提出了建议。%In the present research,a questionnaire and some interview questions were used to explore the primary demotivating factors affecting English learning in the higher vocational colleges.Five primary demotivating factors were extracted: 1) Test Scores and Past Learning Experiences;2) Learning Materials and Tasks;3)Students' Confidence and Interests;4)Teachers' Competence and Teaching Styles;5) School Facilities.Moreover,statistically significances were found between the more and less motivation groups for the former three factors.Some suggestions to stimulate students' motivation are put forward in the paper.
