结合西汉岭南政治格局，推测观阳县创置于汉文帝初年，被废于汉武帝元鼎六年（公元前111年）征服南越时，提出东汉末建安十五年（210年）刘备复置观阳的观点，并认为东汉末以后的观阳县治皆在今灌阳县城地。通过考辨《水经注》的相关记载，纠正了《中国历史地图集》上一些讹误，廓清了西汉以来观阳县政区设置及县治变迁的历史。%On the basis of political structure of Southeastern China during West Han Dynasty,It contends that Guangyang county had been established in the first several years during Emperor Hanwen’s reign,and was cancelled at B.C. 111 when Emperor Hanwu conquered the South Yue Kingdom. Guanyang country was reestablished by Liubei at A. D. 210,and since the year,its county seat has been locating at the place which is Guangyang city. Furthermore,through probing into Shuijinzhu,it is necessary to correct some mistakes in Historical Atlas of China,and offer a true delineation of the history of Guangyang county.
