This paper discusses the narrative mode of poetry in the novels of the Tang Dynasty from two aspects:the narrative angle and the position. From the narrative angle,the narrative angle of poetry in the no-vels of the Tang Dynasty is closely related to the narrative angle of the novels:the narrative angle in the novels of the Tang Dynasty is mainly based on the third person narrative, and therefore, the poetry integrated into them mainly appears in the form of the third person statement. But in the novels of the Tang Dynasty with the first person narrative,there appears the poetry from the angle of the first person statement. From the position, there are some poems in the middle of the novels,there are some poems at the end of the novels,but there are no poems at the beginning of the novels. Accordingly,there are only the middle mode and the ending mode in the position of poetry that appeared in the novels of the Tang Dynasty,which are mainly based on the middle mode. Different functions vary from position to position for the poetry in the novels of the Tang Dynasty.%从叙事视角而言,唐代小说中诗歌的叙事视角与小说的叙事视角有着密切关系:唐代小说的叙事视角以第三人称叙事为主,因此它所融入的诗歌主要是以第三人称自述的形式出现.而在以第一人称叙事的唐代小说中,则出现了第一人称自述视角的诗歌.从诗歌在唐代小说中所处的位置来看,有的诗歌位于小说叙事的中间,而有的诗歌则出现于小说结尾处,唯独没有在小说开头出现的诗歌.因此,唐代小说中诗歌所处的位置只有中间模式和结尾模式,这两种模式以中间模式为主.唐代小说中的诗歌也因所处位置的不同而具有不同的功能.
