Objective:To discuss the nutritional value of Leucaena gleuca seeds through the investigation of its crude fat, crude protein, starch and other major nutrients. Methods:the crude fat, crude protein, crude fi-ber, starch, reducing sugar, moisture and ash content, metal elements, heavy metals and amino acid content were measured respectively using Soxhlet extraction method and Kjeldahl fixed nitrogen method, weak acid al-kali method and anthrone color method, direct titration method, weight method, atomic absorption spectrometry, amino acid automatic analyzer analysis. Results:the physical composition of Leucaena gliuca seeds was 32.06%capsule, 21.40%endosperm and 38.80%cotyledon, weightness of seed kilo-grain was 46.51g. There were many kinds of nutrient content in Leucaena gleuca seeds the content of crude protein was 24.17%,the content of starch was 24.20%,the content of crude fiber was 14.23%,and crude fat was 4.27%;there were 16 kinds of amino acid, the contents of 8 essential amino acid was 35.57%, the Val was the highest, 13.52%;there were plentiful trace metals, calcium was higher, 31.95 mg/100g;the contents of 4 kinds of heavy metal elements was within the limit of food additive of national standards. Conclusion: The seeds of Leucaena gleuca have higher nutritional value and prospects for development and utilization.%目的：通过测定粗脂肪、粗蛋白、淀粉、氨基酸及微量元素等主要营养成分，对银合欢种子的营养价值进行了探讨．方法：分别采用索氏提取法、凯氏定氮法、弱酸碱法、蒽酮比色法、直接滴定法、重量法、原子吸收光谱法、氨基酸自动分析仪分析等测定种子中的粗脂肪、粗蛋白、粗纤维、淀粉、还原糖、水分及灰分、金属元素、重金属及氨基酸等含量．结果：银合欢种子的物理组成中，种皮占32.06%，内胚乳占21.40%，子叶占38.80%；种子千粒重为46.51 g．银合欢种子中粗蛋白含量为24.17%，淀粉含量24.20%，粗纤维含量14.23%，粗脂肪含量为4.27%；种子中含有15种氨基酸，其中人体必需的8种氨基酸含量为35.57%，其中缬氨酸含量最高，达13.52%；银合欢种子含有丰富的微量金属元素，其中钙元素含量较高，为31.95 mg/100 g；种子中砷、铅、镉和汞4种重金属的含量均未超出国标食品添加剂的标准．结论：银合欢种子具有较高的营养价值及开发利用前景．
