Field investigation shows that the folk definition of Dong Chorus and clarification have certain region discrepancy, since the definition is not so clear and the clarification is not so uniform. Only if making clear the folk definition and clarification of Dong Chorus, the inheritance and protection of it can be performed with a clear purpose.%侗族大歌的民间界定与分类具有一定的地区差异性,界定并非那么清晰明了,分类也并非那么整齐划一。只有弄清了什么是侗族大歌这一基本问题,在传承与保护的时候才能做到有的放矢;也只有认清了侗族大歌的民间分类,并了解各种类型濒危程度的差异,在传承与保护的工作中才能把握轻重缓急。
