The theory of strong tracking filter and its application in GPS/DR combined positioning system on vehicle are discussed by the experiment of simulation, comparised and analyzed. The errors of positioning caused by strong tracking filter and extended kalman filter in GPS/DR combined positioning systems are analyzed and compared.
