利用红外光谱(FT-IR)、X射线粉末衍射(XRD)和热失重(TG)等分析手段对纸张涂料用纳米TiO2样品进行了表征,并与微米TiO2的微晶结构进行比较研究。FT-IR和TG分析结果确证了改性纳米TiO2表面包覆约有12.43%的有机改性剂。对比研究发现TiO2微晶纳米化后,由Ti—O—Ti键的晶格振动引起的620cm-1附近强而宽的吸收峰出现约40cm-1的蓝移现象。制备了纳米TiO2改性纸张涂料,对纳米粒子改性的铜版纸涂层性能进行了探讨。实验结果表明随着改性纳米TiO2用量的增加,铜版纸的白度大大提高%The surface structure of nanosized TiO2 samples used in paper coatings was characterized by FT-IR,XRD and TG techniques.A comparative study on the crystal structure and surface characteristics of nanosized CaCO3,modified nanosized CaCO3 and microsized CaCO3 was made.It was confirmed by XRD that modified nanosized TiO2 samples kept the same bulk structure as unmodified TiO2.According to the spectra of FT-IR and TG,it can be inferred that modifier agent was bound on the surface of nanosized TiO2 particles and an organic coating layer was formed.The mass fraction of modifier agent coated on the surface of nanosized TiO2 measured was about 12.43%.Paper coating modified with nanosized particles was discussed,and the effect of modified nanosized TiO2 particles on the properties of coated paper was comparatively studied.The results showed that modified nanosized TiO2 particles replacing microsized particles pigment in paper coating contributed great to the brightness of coated paper.It was especially illustrated that with the increase of modified nanosized TiO2 particles amount in coated paper,the properties of coated paper can be persistently improved.However,the smoothness properties of coated paper would take on a downward trend once the amount of nanosized TiO2 in paper coating exceeded the limit of 10%.
