水性PS/PA LIPN抗石击汽车底涂的制备

     

摘要

采用种子乳液聚合法制备了水性苯乙烯-丙烯酸酯互穿网络聚合物乳液(苯丙乳液),并通过添加增稠剂、无机填料以及水制备了一种可用于汽车底涂的抗石击涂料.通过动态热机械分析仪(DMA)、万能材料试验机、动态光散射粒度分析仪(DLS)、旋转式粘度计、热重分析仪(TGA)对制得不同单体投料比两种乳液的力学性能、胶粒的粒度(分布)、粘度以及热性能进行了表征,并对制得涂料的应用性能进行了研究.结果表明,制得乳液具有较好的粘性,其胶粒分布均一,平均粒径为63.9nm;制得乳液乳胶膜具有较好韧性、阻尼性能及热稳定性,不同单体投料比乳液乳胶膜具有不同的玻璃化转变温度(Tg);制得涂料各项应用性能优异,可以作为汽车抗石击底涂材料.%Aqueous styrene-acrylic emulsions, a chipping-resistant coating composition for automobile primer which was also composed of thickening agent, inorganic fillings and water, were successfully synthesized by combining seed emulsion polymerization with latex interpenetrating polymer network (LIPN) technology. The mechanical properties and viscosity of the obtained polymer emulsion samples of different comonomer ratio were evaluated through dynamic mechanical thermal (DMA), universal testing machine and rotary viscometer, re-spectively; the size and its distribution of polymer latex particles of each sample were determined by dynamic light scattering-autosizer (DLS); the thermodynamic characteristics were recorded on thermal gravimetric ana-lyzer CTGA). At last, we studied the application performance of the chipping-resistant coating. The results showed that the previously prepared aqueous styrene-acrylic emulsions both featured an appreciable viscosity and a narrow particle size distribution, with the average particle size about 63. 9 nm. Furthermore, both poly-mer emulsion films possessed good toughness property, damping capacity and heat stability, along with differ-ent glass temperatures. The coating we prepared exhibited better application performance, enabling them a promising material for application on automobile primer.
