Salen[ N,N'-ethylenebis(salicylideneamino)] iron( Ⅱ ) complexes[ hereafter referred to as Fesalen] have been syn thesizet within the "bottle" cavity of dehydrated zeolite MCM-22 by the flexible method and characterized by physicochemical methods. The results have shown that the Fesalen complexes have stoichiometrcal formed in zeolite MCM-22.
