A separation algorithm is proposed for heavily-overlapped nature fibers of various forms in cross-sectional. The 8-4 neighbor peel-off, a good approximation to distance transformation, is discussed for the overlapped fiber separation. A distance warp is applied to distance transform based peel-off method to simplify the computation. The result of fiber separation is comparable to distance transform based processing, but the time complexity is largely reduced. In the peel-off processing, the outmost of overlapped fibers is peeled off repeatedly until the location of overlap is determined; the deformation of fibers form is minimized because they are separated from the overlapped point. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is efficient and accurate.%针对形状不规则、黏连严重的天然纤维分离算法进行研究.基于距离变换的剥离算法和加权距离变换算法的分析,提出一种基于八四邻域外轮廓的剥离算法.该算法以基于距离变换的剥离算法为基础,经加权距离变换演变,分离效果接近基于距离变换的剥离算法,降低了算法的时间复杂度.算法从黏连纤维的外轮廓开始剥离,给出求分离点的方法,进而分离黏连纤维,剥离过程中外轮廓失真较小,能准确地分离黏连纤维.实验结果表明,算法的结果有效且理想.
