大连地区新石器时代贝丘遗址分布广泛，但整体保存状况不容乐观。本文探讨了大连地区贝丘遗址的保护状况、模式和价值等问题。相关职能部门重视与监管、遗址学术价值与文保级别、普通民众关注与参与等是影响一个地区遗址保护的重要因素，大连地区贝丘遗址的保护状况，反映了目前国内古文化遗址保护普遍面临的窘境，其中成功的经验值得借鉴推广，深刻的教训则应引以为戒。%The shell mound relics of the New Stone Age are widely distributed in the Dalian area;however, they are not in a good protection. The paper discusses the protection and value of the shell mound relics in Dalian, and believes that it is an import factor to influence the site protection if relevant governmental departments attach great importance to relic management and supervision, and to the academic value of relics and status of the site protection, and if the public show concern for and participate in the site protection. The protection of the shell mound relics in the Dalian area generally reflects the current predicament of ancient site protection. In which, we have both successful experience and powerful lessons to be borrowed from and to be taken notice of.
