Objective To explore the clinical application value and techniques of FOCUS ultrasonic scalpel in the initial operation for hyperthyroidism. Methods A retrospective analysis was made on the clinical data of 262 cases undergoing initial operation for hyperthyroidism in our hospital from August 2010 to January 2012,including 138 cases of FOCUS ultrasonic scalpel surgery( scalpel group )and 124 cases of conventional surgery( traditional group ). Intraoperative blood loss, operative time, hospitalization time,cost of hospitalization and postoperative complications were compared between the groups. Results In the scalpel group,intraoperative blood loss and operative time were less than the traditional group, while hospital costs were higher than the traditional group. No significant differences in hospitalization time or postoperative complications were found between the two groups( P >0. 05 ). Conclusion FOCUS ultrasonic scalpel may reduce intraoperative blood loss and shorten operative time in the initial operation for hyperthyroidism , while more attentions should be paid to the surgical techniques.%目的 探讨FOCUS超声刀在初次甲状腺功能亢进(甲亢)手术治疗中的应用价值与技巧.方法 我科2008年12月至2010年12月行初次甲亢手术治疗病例262例,其中应用FOCUS超声刀手术138例(超声刀组),传统手术124例(传统组),比较两组术中出血量、手术时间、住院时间、住院费用与术后近期并发症.结果 超声刀组术中出血量、手术时间少于传统方法组,住院费用高于传统方法组,两组住院时间、术后近期并发症差异无统计学意义(P＞0.05).结论 FOCUS超声刀在初次甲亢手术中可减少术中出血、缩短手术时间,但应注意其使用技巧.
