Objective To survey the prevalence of dental caries in 2 - 6 year old children in kindergartens in order to provide the basis for prevention of caries. Methods A total of 1512 children in 5 different kindergartens of Dongcheng District in Beijing were surveyed for caries. Examination of dental caries was carried out, and their related factors were studied and analyzed. Results The incidence rate of caries was 35. 12 % , and the mean DMFT ( decayed, missing and filled teeth ) were 3.3 teeth. Gender was not related with the incidence of dental caries in children ( P >0.05); but age, frequency of brushing, eating habits and guardians were related to the incidence of dental caries ( P <0.05).Conclusion Brushing teeth on time and eating less sugary food were effective ways in prevention of dental caries.%目的 了解幼儿园2～6岁儿童乳牙龋病情况,为今后的儿童防龋工作提供依据.方法 对北京市东城区5所幼儿园中,共1 512例在园儿童进行龋齿检查,并对相关影响因素进行调查和统计学分析.结果 北京市东城区2～6岁儿童乳牙患龋率为35.12%,龋均3.3颗.性别与儿童乳牙龋齿发生率无相关关系(P＞0.05);年龄、刷牙次数、吃甜食习惯和看护人与儿童乳牙龋齿发生率有相关关系(P<0.05).结论 按时刷牙、少吃甜食是预防龋齿的有效方式.
