Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of levocarnitine and compound Xuanju capsules on semen quality in patients with idiopathic oligospermia,and to observe their safety. Methods A total of 116 patients with idiopathic oligospermia in mild and moderate status in this hospital during January,2015 to April,2016 were selected for this stdy. They were randomly divided into Group A and Group B,with 58 ca-ses in each group. Patients in group A were treated with levocarnitine,and patients in group B were administered with compound Xuanju capsules for treatment. The clinical efficacy,rate of pregnancy in females and quality of semens before and after treatment and adverse reactions in patients of these two groups were evaluated. Results The total effective rate of group B was 87. 93％ (51 / 58),it was higher than that [72. 41％ (42 /58)]of group A,and the difference was statistically significant (P 0. 05). The density of sperm,motility of sperm,ratio of sperm a,(a + b)sperm ratio and forward motility of sperm were significantly higher in B group [(27. 59 ± 4. 62)× 106 / ml,(72. 51 ± 7. 31)％,(35. 58 ± 3. 44)％,(69. 10 ± 6. 28)％and (30. 13 ± 3. 08)％]respectively,they were significantly higher than those of group A [(24. 64 ± 4. 19)× 106 / ml,(65. 20 ± 6. 88)％, (28. 16 ± 3. 19)％,(64. 70 ± 6. 31)％ and (25. 49 ± 2. 76)％]respectively,and the difference was statistically significant (P 0. 05). Conclusion The application of levocarnitine and compound Xuanju capsules in treatment of idiopathic weak sperm disease is safe and effective. The compound Xuanju capsules have the function of warming the kidney and invigorating Yang,boosting es-sence and eliminating wind (terms in Chinese tradtional medcine). In comparison with levocarnitine,its clinical curative effect is better,and it can effectively raise the quality of semen.%目的 比较左卡尼汀与复方玄驹胶囊治疗特发性少弱精症的临床疗效.方法 选择2015年1月至2016年4月特发性少弱精症患者116例,均为轻中度,随机A组和B组,各58例,A组患者采用左卡尼汀进行治疗;B组患者采用复方玄驹胶囊进行治疗.评估两组临床疗效、女方受孕率、治疗前后精液质量、及不良反应.结果 B组患者总有效率为87.93％(51/58),高于A组72.41％(42/58),差异具有统计学意义(P0.05).B组患者治疗后精子密度、精子活动率、a级精子比、(a+b)级精子比和前向精子活动率分别为(27.59±4.62)×106/ml、(72.51±7.31)％、(35.58±3.44)％、(69.10±6.28)％和(30.13±3.08)％,高于A组治疗后的(24.64±4.19)×106/ml、(65.20±6.88)％、(28.16±3.19)％(64.70±6.31)％和(25.49±2.76)％,差异均有统计学意义(P0.05).结论 左卡尼汀与复方玄驹胶囊治疗特发性少弱精症均安全有效,复方玄驹胶囊具有温肾壮阳、益精祛风湿作用,与左卡尼汀比较,治疗特发性少弱精症的临床疗效更好,能够有效提高精液质量.
