In this article, the author discusses, on the theoretical plane, the targets of the study of the history of women’s movement after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, and expounds her personal views in connection with the difference between Chinese women’s movement and the writing of the history of the work of women’s federations, and other questions, such as the intensions and extensions of Chinese women’s movement and its internal and external relationships.
