基于目标增强的医学图像伪彩色处理算法

             

摘要

According to the features of medical images, such as low contrast, narrow gray scale and edge blurring be-tween tissues, a new medical image enhancement algorithm is proposed combining object enhancement with pseudo—col-or processing. Firstly the object enhancement image is obtained by using labeling watershed algorithm in order to high-light the region of tissues.Then the object enhancement image is processed by using the gray level-color algorithms in Fourier transformation domain.The results of the experiment show that the proposed pseudo—color algorithm can im-prove the visualization, emphasize the tissues' outline and increase doctors' accuracy in diagnoses.The algorithm has been used in the medical image fusion system, and the processing performance is very satisfactory%针对医学图像对比度差、灰度范围窄、组织间边缘不明显的特点,提出了一种新的目标增强与伪彩色处理相结合的医学图像增强算法.首先利用标记分水岭分割算法获得目标增强图像,突出组织区域;然后对目标增强后图像进行傅立叶变换域灰度—彩色处理.实验结果表明,此算法增强了医学图像的可读性,突出了组织轮廓,提高了医生的诊断效率.该算法已应用于医学图像融合系统中,取得了令人满意的效果.
