Edwidge Danticat is a contemporary Haitian American woman writer.Her novel The Farming of Bones,an American Book Award winner in 1999,rewrites the history of 1937 massacre happening in Haiti and Dominican Republic.From the perspectives of personal memory and female testimony,this paper aims at analyzing how and why Danticat rewrites this part of history,thus further revealing the theme of identity and homeland reflected in the novel.%艾薇菊·丹提卡是海地裔美国当代女作家。获得1999年美国图书奖的小说《锄骨》向读者展现了海地及多米尼加共和国历史上记载的1937年大屠杀(或称西芹大砍杀)。本文主要通过个体记忆及女性视角两个方面阐述丹提卡书写历史的方式并分析重写历史的原因,进而揭示小说反映的身份建构和寻找家园的主题。
