These cultures play a major role in the protection of biodiversity in Xishuangbanna. However, under the driving role of economic interests and the impact of modern culture, these cultures have been greatly challenged, which mainly reflected in the reduction of the area of Natural Sanctuary, the reduction of biodiversity, and the disappearance of large areas of firewood forests and other aspects. The conservation situations of Dai nationality's traditional culture and biodiversity in Xishuangbanna were analyzed, the challenge faced by Dai nationality's traditional culture were pointed out, and some suggestions were put forward for the conservation of Dai nationality's traditional culture.
