根据养生旅游及道教养生文化的相关理论,从区位条件、环境资源、客源市场3个维度剖析茅山的养生旅游开发背景,指出茅山风景区品牌效应初步形成、旅游“快餐化”问题突出的发展现状,总结了茅山开发养生旅游的必要性和可行性,提出“明确道教养生主题,营造和谐生态环境,开发特色产品,完善服务体系”的茅山养生旅游开发策略.%In accordance with relevant theories of health tourism and Taoist health culture, backgrounds for health tourism development in Mao Mountain had been analyzed from the perspectives of geographic conditions, environmental resources and source market. It pointed out that the brand effect of Mao Mountain Scenic Area had formed initially and "snack" tourism became prominent. After conclusion of necessity and feasibility to develop health tourism in Mao Mountain, it proposed strategies to develop health tourism in Mao Mountain which were " in-dentifying Taoist health theme, creating harmonious ecological environment, developing characteristic products and completing service system".
