[Objective] To research the physiological response of pepper seedling to drought stress.[Method]The effects of drought stress on physiological indexes of two pepper cultivars(Luoyan No. 5 and Changhong 362A) were investigated using potted seedlings with different drought resistance in the present study.[Result]The contents of soluble sugar,free proline and chlorophyll,soluble protein went up in two cultivars.The soluble sugar,free proline and chlorophyll of Luoyan No. 5 showed a positive tendency toward drought stress.[Conclusion]Luoyan No. 5 had drought resistance.%[目的]研究辣椒幼苗对干旱胁迫的生理响应.[方法]以洛研5号、长虹362A辣椒为材料,采用盆栽称重控水法,研究辣椒幼苗对不同程度水分胁迫的生理响应.[结果]随干旱胁迫的加剧,2个辣椒品种的幼苗叶片可溶性糖、游离脯氨酸、叶绿素、可溶性蛋白质的含量均呈上升趋势;洛研5号在重度水分胁迫下可溶性糖、游离脯氨酸、叶绿素和可溶性蛋白质含量增加幅度大,有利于减少水分胁迫的伤害.[结论]洛研5号抗旱性较强.
