Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing protocols for colorectal polyps

Colorectal polyps are thought to be the potential precursors to colorectal cancer(CRC).Endoscopic removal of these polyps is conductive to decreasing the risk of deaths due to CRC,but for some complex colorectal polyps,they have to be resected surgically instead of endoscopic removal.However,surgical excision is associated with higher morbidity and mortality.Recently,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has shown a better therapeutic effect on improving the quality of life and reducing the recurrence in patients with colorectal polyps.Therefore,this article primarily investigated the key points of common syndromes,TCM nursing methods and healthy guidance of colorectal polyps,aiming at maintaining and developing the strengths of TCM,improving its efficacy and standardizing its behavior.
