The main well of Asele copper mine has depth of 1 242m, where the skip loading chamber is 1 005 m apart from wellhead and surrounded by swelling rock, making it under a classical environment of kilometer well depth and swelling rock layer, bringing out great difficulties for construction. Through field evaluation and decision, a plan of simultaneous construction on skip loading chamber and main well is adopted. A rapid five-stage stratified method based construction procedure intersecting three drilling stages and two supporting stages is illustrated in detail, and its auxiliary system and labor organization are introduced. Construction is successfully completed only by 40 days, improving the efficiency of 25% compared with the original plan, bringing significant economic benefits for the enterprise.
