This paper describes a software design based on Android platform to control a mobile robot,via Wi-Fi communication. The robot is an inertial-positioning mobile robot,using inertial positioning system which is based on inertial sensors and milemeter.The robot wil send the inertial parameters of the robot itself to the control terminal.After that,the terminal software can show us where the robot is in the map,so can see the location of the robot,meanwhile send action commands to the robot through the terminal software,tel ing the robot how to make a movement.%针对移动机器人设计了基于Android平台的远程控制终端软件,利用Wi-Fi实现控制终端和移动机器人的无线通信。移动机器人带有基于惯性传感器和和里程计的惯性定位系统。机器人把自身惯性定位测得的位置参数传回给控制终端,通过在控制终端平板电脑上可以看到移动机器人所处的位置,并对机器人的动作发出指令,实现对移动机器人的远程监测与控制。实验结果表明,该远程控制终端能对移动机器人进行位置显示和有效控制。
