美国国家教育统计中心与高等教育数据运行机制的探索

摘要

美国国家教育统计中心在描述和评价美国教育状况,辅助联邦各级政府及社会各界进行决策的过程发挥了不可替代的作用.文章对美国国家教育统计中心的产生和发展的历史背景、组织架构、运行模式以及其在高等教育领域中的应用进行简要介绍,在详细分析其运行机制的基础上,提出对我国高等教育信息数据库建设和管理的建议.%National Center for Education Statistics( NCES)plays a significant role in describing and e-valuating American education,as well as assists federal governments and all circles of the society in decision-making. The paper gives a brief introduction of the emergence and development background,framework, running mechanism and application of NCES in higher education. On the basis of those,several suggestions a-bout development and management of higher education information database in our country are put forward.
