Since the production of Ziegler-Natta catalyst in the 1950s, it experienced 5 times change. In the 21st century, the newest Ziegler-Natta catalyst has lots of outstanding properties, formed by the polymerization of resin started the transformation of function materials and widely applied in rubber, engineering plastic, fibre, polymer material and other areas. The properties and application of Ziegler-Natta catalyst, the course of 5 times of the catalyst as well as the development direction in the future were reviewed.%自20世纪50年代Ziegler-Natta催化剂的出现,先后经历了5个时代的发展变革。21世纪的新型Ziegler-Natta催化剂,具有许多突出的优异性能。聚合所形成的树脂亦逐渐向功能材料方向进行转变,且广泛应用于橡胶,工程塑料,纤维,高分子材料等领域。本文综述了Ziegler-Natta催化剂的性能及应用,先后5个时代催化剂的发展历程及其未来发展的方向。
