广州市海珠区位于珠江三角洲弱潮河口，针对其河网地区水流双向流容易造成回流，产生淤积现象，致使水流不畅，水质污染严重等问题，提出了水系连通方案：对断头河涌进行疏浚并相互打通，恢复其原有的引、排水功能，实现单向流动；恢复或新开挖河涌2处，连通河涌10处，总长8210 m。河涌水系连通实施后，区内水环境得到了较大改善。%Haizhu District of Guangzhou City is located at the weak tidal estuary of Pearl River Delta where bidirec⁃tional flow in the river network frequently leads to backflow, deposition, poor flow and water pollution. A project of connecting the river network was proposed. The components include dredging and connecting the dead-end chan⁃nels to recover their diversion and drainage functions, change bidirectional flow into one-way flow; recovering or newly excavating 2 channels and connecting 10 channels. The total length amounts to 8210m. After this project was completed, the water environment in Haizhu District has been greatly improved.
