This paper analyzes development status quo of metal oxide surge-arrester (MOA)on-line detection of power sys-tem and shortages of present main testing methods. It presents an on-line detection method based on MOA high-frequency pulse current and explains testing principles of high-frequency pulse current method and graph spectral features of defect cri-teria in theory. According to field testing experiences,it summarizes operable practical detection methods and expounds ef-fectiveness of this method in field detection by means of one case of typical example.%分析电力系统氧化锌避雷器(metal oxide surge-arrester,MOA)带电测试的发展现状及其目前主流测试方法存在的不足,提出MOA高频脉冲电流的带电测试方法,从理论上说明高频脉冲电流法测试原理和缺陷判据的图谱特征,根据现场测试经验总结可操作的实用测试方法,最后通过一起典型案例的应用说明该方法在现场测试中的有效性。
