Western Kunlun Mountains of Xinjiang has rich mineral resources. According to the result of high - precision large - scale aeromagnetic survey, the characteristics of known iron deposits are obvious, and a number of large and medium - sized iron deposits have been found in Taxkorgen area of Xinjiang.
