Tourist industry is considered to be the smokeless, green, and sunrise industry. The development of tourist industry and the increasing need of tourist map attach more and more importance to the compiling and publication tourist map, which calls for a higher standard of the design tourist map. The design of tourist map focuses not only on function, but also on art, rationality and collection.%旅游业被全球公认为无烟工业、绿色工业、朝阳产业。随着旅游事业的发展和旅游地图需求量的增加，旅游地图的编制和出版日益受到人们重视，对旅游地图的设计理念也提出了更高的要求，除了旅游地图的实用性外，更侧重其艺术性、科学性和收藏性。
