The melting process for ZG30MnSi with the medium frequency induction furnace was presented. Through measures such as the quality control of raw materials, the selection of chemical composition, and the content control of deoxidation aluminum and residual aluminum in molten steel in the final deoxidation stage, high-quality molten steel was- obtained. The casting defects such as porosity, inclusions etc. Were effectively reduced, and the internal structure of the casting was refined.
