详细介绍了南京林业大学最新研制的YQ-40型试验机的结构组成和工作原理，并提出了相应的锯切生产率测试方法。%The paper introduced the structure and working principle of YQ-40 experiment machine,which was designed by Nanjing Forestry University recently.It also offered a method of portable chain saws determination of cutting rate.
