The forest germplasm resources in Donggang District of Rizhao City, Shandong Province were investigated based on literature review,insider interview,line survey,sample survey and individual plant survey. The results showed that with abundant germplasm resources 533 species of woody plants belong-ing to 179 genera and 77 families were recorded in this research,among which there were 120 species of wild trees,381 species of cultivated trees,21 species of introduced trees,11 species of rare and endan-gered trees and 68 strains of ancient and rare trees. The characteristics of tree germplasm resources and the problems of resources protection and utilization were analyzed. This paper put forward some counter-measures to carry out medium-and long-term plan,establish forest germplasm resource base,strengthen the protection of key forest germplasm resources,and pay attention to the breeding of local tree species.%采用资源查阅、知情人访谈、线路调查、样地调查、单株调查等方法,对山东省日照市东港区林木种质资源进行调查.结果表明,东港区林木种质资源较为丰富、本次调查共记录木本植物77科179属533种,其中野生树种120种、栽培树种381种、引进树种21种、珍稀濒危树种11种、古树名木68株.对林木种质资源特点及保护利用方面存在的问题进行分析.提出开展中长期规划、建立林木种质资源库、加强重点林木种质资源的保护、注重乡土树种选育等对策及建议.
