The electronic design automation (EDA) represents the latest development of modern electronic design technology. Firstly, the main problems of digital circuit experiments are analyzed, and a new way to improve students comprehensive application ability of digital circuit knowledge is proposed by employing EDA technology to design digital circuit comprehensive experiments. Then, a comprehensive experiment named digital frequency meter which covers a wide knowledge of digital circuit course is designed by integrating these commonly used MSI components such as multiplexer, decoder, counter and so on. The detailed system design scheme and the implementation circuit of main modules are given. The actual experimental results indicate that exploiting EDA technology to design digital circuit comprehensive experiments, is helpful for students to deepen understanding of course contents, stimulate their learning interest and improve their comprehensive application ability of digital circuit knowledge.%分析了原数字电路实验中存在的主要问题,提出借助EDA技术设计数字电路综合实验,提高学生对数字电路综合应用能力的实验教学思路.设计了一个涉及知识点广泛,集数据选择器、译码器、计数器、寄存器等常用MSI器件综合运用为一体的综合性实验——数字频率计,给出了具体的系统设计方案和主要实现电路.实验教学效果表明,应用EDA设计数字电路综合实验,有助于加深学生对该课程内容的理解,激发学生的学习兴趣,提高学生对所学知识的综合运用能力.
