OBJECTIVE:To probe into the efficacy of insulin pump in treatment of acute complications of diabetes mellitus.METHODS: 68 patients with acute complications of diabetes mellitus admitted into Lianjiang People's Hospital from Jun .2015 to Jun .2016 were selected to be divided into observation group and control group via the random number table , with 34 cases in each .The control group were treated with insulin injection , while the observation group received insulin pump .The clinical efficacy, side effects, length of stay and hospitalization cost of two groups were observed .RESULTS: The incidence of hypoglycemia , clearance time of urine ket , time requirds of blood glucose , fasting blood glucose and postprandial 2 h blood glucose level in observation group were significantly superior to those of control group , with statistically significant difference ( P <0.05 ) .The hospitalization cost of observation group was (3 368 ±656) yuan, significantly higher than that of control group [(3 100 ±450) yuan];the length of stay in observation group was (95.85 ±34.26) d, significantly lower than that of control group [ (136.25 ± 55.12) d], with statistically significant difference ( P <0.05).CONCLUSIONS: The efficacy of insulin pump in treatment of acute complications of diabetes mellitus is definite , which can effectively improve the blood glucose of patients, reduce the incidence of hypoglycemia and shorten the length of stay .%目的：探讨胰岛素泵治疗糖尿病急性并发症的疗效。方法：选取2015年6月—2016年6月廉江市人民医院收治的糖尿病急性并发症患者68例作为研究对象。以抽签法将患者分为观察组和对照组各34例。对照组患者采用胰岛素注射治疗，观察组患者采用胰岛素泵治疗。观察2组患者的临床疗效、不良反应、住院时间及费用。结果：观察组患者低血糖发生率、尿酮体转阴时间、血糖达标时间、空腹血糖、餐后2 h血糖水平均明显优于对照组，差异均有统计学意义（P＜0.05）；观察组患者住院费用为（3368±656）元，明显高于对照组的（3100±450）元，观察组患者的住院时间为（95.85±34.26） d，明显短于对照组的（136.25±55.12）d，差异均有统计学意义（P＜0.05）。结论：胰岛素泵治疗糖尿病急性并发症，疗效确切，能有效改善患者血糖情况，降低低血糖发生率，缩短患者住院时间。
