William Faulkner is a famous American novelist of the 20th century,is also the representative of the southern writers.In this paper,we can know Faulkner's views on racial discrimination through analyzing the characters and environment description in this work.Race issue was the main content of William Faulkner creation.In this work it is very clear that he was not in favor of racial discrimination and the condemned it.
