Te western hemisphere is playing a more important role in globe oil and gas supply and will become a net export region. Developing countries are entering a period of accelerated growth of oil and gas demand. The gravity of world of oil and gas demand is shifting from the West to the East, and Asia Pacific has become the biggest region of oil and gas demand. All of those above-mentioned are changing the structure of global oil and gas market and the geopolitics situation and competition status, providing China more challenges than opportunities. China should increase domestic supply, promote energy saving, support technological innovation, develop alternative energy, increase the ability to acquire global oil and gas and participate in global energy governance.
