Based on the design and implementation of the motors management system for a large oil terminal, the automatic control of electric motors was put forward, which integrates the use of intelligent motor protection control devices with field bus communication technology. The system was easy to use and moderate in cost, and it had good stability, high reliability, compatibility and scalability.
